At the final whistle, a fifth pitch invader tries to reach Ronaldo but stumbles and is quickly apprehended, highlighting lax security measures today.


Portugal has completed their task, but Turkey faces a critical match against the Czech Republic next.

Antonio Silva replaces Pepe, who receives a standing ovation from both sets of supporters. He's a truly exceptional footballer, effortlessly reading the game.


Another fan breaches security and approaches Ronaldo, but neither he nor his manager find it as amusing as earlier when it was a child.


If only security were as effective at stopping intruders as Pepe is at defending.

Ronaldo notably refrains from posing for the selfie this time, and the intruder is escorted off the field. Someone from the stands throws a cup of liquid at him, making it a rough experience.
