Crystal Palace vs Manchester United live update: Henderson and Onana deliver crucial saves in scoreless draw.

Although the absence of goals will be the primary frustration for Manchester United fans from this match, it's important to note that the team has secured three clean sheets in five Premier League games this season. This is a significant improvement compared to last season, where they managed just one clean sheet in their final 10 matches.

It was an odd match, but Palace could have emerged victorious had Eberechi Eze shown more composure in front of goal. They pose a greater threat when they play directly and attack with pace.

After the midweek Carabao Cup victory against Queens Park Rangers, Glasner expressed frustration over his team's slow ball movement and excessive passing, a concern that was apparent throughout much of this match.

Ismaila Sarr made a notable impact after coming on, and Jeffrey Schlupp’s direct runs in the closing minutes also contributed to their attacking efforts.

Crystal Palace continues to be one of six winless teams in the Premier League this season, which may explain their lack of confidence during the match. However, they did secure a third point, and there were encouraging signs as they became more involved in the game. While Michael Olise's exit created a gap, Ismaila Sarr’s second-half performance indicated a potential solution for Oliver Glasner to address that void.

Manchester United now has seven points from their first five games. They dominated the first half, creating numerous chances but were unable to capitalize on them.

In the second half, their effectiveness waned, and they possibly allowed one too many opportunities for the opposition.

As is often the case under Erik ten Hag, it’s difficult to gauge their actual performance and the progress they are making.

On the bright side, they managed to avoid defeat, and with many players now fit and available, that should provide a boost moving forward.

Oh Eberechi, how did you miss that?

Since Ismaila Sarr came on at halftime, he and Eze have created some beautiful combinations.

They link up once more, but Eze inexplicably side-foots his shot just wide of the post when it seemed certain he would score.

Who’s struggling with efficiency now? It’s tough to keep up.
